Lakeland Motor Museum sponsors Tom Woodburn Rallying

Lakeland Motor Museum will join the high octane world of the British Rally Championship this summer, after agreeing a sponsorship deal with one of the series talented co-drivers.

Backbarrow based Lakeland Motor Museum and the Café Ambio will appear on the overalls of Tom Woodburn as he navigates driver Rhys Yates and their Ford Fiesta R5 rally car around the remaining stages of the 2016 championship.

The two companies join Woodburn as he sits ninth in the championship standings following eye catching performances on the two rounds run to date and will provide valued support as he and crew-mate Yates look to move up the leader board.

Welcoming his new sponsorship partners, Tom Woodburn said: “It’s great to welcome both Café Ambio and the Lakeland Motor Museum to my British Rally Championship campaign. Their logos are already proudly on my overalls ahead of the next round of the season. They are both well known institutions around the Lake District and I hope we can spread the word further and get people along to visit.”
