Combined ticketing with Windermere Lake Cruises Autumn, Winter and Early Spring
For a great day out why not… combine a scenic lake cruise with the wonderment of more than 100 years of road transport heritage.
That’s the amazing great value experience being offered by the Lakeland Motor Museum and Windermere Lake Cruises every weekend from the 10th November until the 24th March and Monday 18th to Friday 22nd February.
Depart Ambleside pier (Waterhead) at 10.00 or Bowness at 10.45 and sail south to Lakeside there to board our dedicated bus for the short transfer to the museum at Backbarrow.
Alternatively, your journey may start and finish at the Lakeland Motor Museum which has ample and free parking.
Before or after enjoying the fascination of over 30,000 motoring related exhibits there is time to browse in the museum’s well stocked gift shop and also to sit back, relax and experience the culinary delights provided by Café Ambio.
Your transport departs the museum at 13.00 or 14.40 for Lakeside to connect with boats which depart at 13.15 and 14.55.
For pricing information please see our Admission Information – Public page where you will also find a detailed boat and bus timetable.
These combined tickets allow the holder to enjoy the lake cruise and then make their own way to the museum. Entry to the museum can be made within 5 days of purchase. We wouldn't advise walking to the museum from Lakeside Pier.
